VIRGINIA BEACH, VA: Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of four leases for commercial space totaling 14,022 square feet throughout metropolitan Hampton Roads. Negotiations were handled through the Virginia Beach office of DRE.
UFC Gym leased 8,946 square feet of retail space in the Janaf Shopping Center located at 5930 East Virginia Beach Boulevard in Norfolk, Va. UFC GYM® is the first major brand extension of the Ultimate Fighting Championship®, the world leader in the sport of mixed martial arts (MMA). The UFC GYM brand gives UFC enthusiasts and fitness seekers of all ages the opportunity to practice the training techniques of famed UFC athletes. DRE’s David Redmond represented the tenant in the negotiations with the landlord, Janaf Shopping Center, LLC. Redmond represents UFC Gym in its search for sites throughout Hampton Roads. This is the second transaction completed on behalf of the tenant, the first lease was for space in Virginia Beach’s Hilltop Square Shopping Center.
Westview Financial Services leased 2,350 square feet of office space in the Parkview Shopping Center located at 1701 Parkview Drive in Chesapeake, Va. Westview Financial Services is a community-based lending company designed specifically for small loan financial needs. DRE’s Chris Bendit represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, Parkview Associates, LP.
LD’s Clip Joint & Mohr leased 1,600 square feet of retail space located at the Divaris-leased Tanglewood Shopping Center at the intersection of Tanglewood Parkway and Halstead Drive in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The hair salon joins other tenants in Tanglewood Shopping Center including Hobby Lobby, T.J. Maxx, Dollar Tree, Ross Dress for Less, Hibbett Sports and Rack Room Shoes. DRE’s Redmond represented the landlord, Tanglewood Parkway Elizabeth City, LLC, in the lease negotiations.
Lighthouse Audio Visual Services leased 1,126 square feet of office/warehouse space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Parkway 4 located at 2697 International Parkway in Virginia Beach. Lighthouse Audio Video offers the most up to date and technologically advanced audio and video services to homes and offices in the Hampton Roads area. DRE’s Chris Bendit and Eric Hammond represented the landlord, Continental Parkway, LLC, in the lease negotiations.
