RICHMOND, VA: Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of four leases totaling 14,367 square feet of commercial space in the metropolitan Richmond, Virginia market. Negotiations were handled by the Richmond office of DRE.
Kirkland’s leased 7,606 square feet of retail space in Chesterfield Towne Center located at 11500 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond. Kirkland’s, based in Nashville, Tenn., consists of 320 stores in 35 states and specializes in wall decor, textiles, lamps, furniture, artificial floral products and decorative accessories. Divaris has completed recent transactions with Kirkland’s for space in Newport News, Virginia Beach and Midlothian, Virginia. This is the second location for the retailer in the state capital region. DRE’s Brett McNamee and Ali Newton represented the tenant in the negotiations with the landlord, JRPI Chesterfield, LLC. Other tenants in Chesterfield Towne Center include Ulta, Old Navy, Macy’s Sears, HomeGoods, and At Home.
I Love Kickboxing leased 2,700 square feet of space in the Divaris-leased Shops at Stonehenge located at Midlothian Turnpike and Walmart Way in Midlothian. I Love Kickboxing was formed in 2009 in Merrick, New York and has grown to locations throughout the U.S. and overseas to teach men and women to reach their fitness goals using the cardio and resistance training benefits of kickboxing. McNamee represented the landlord, Melhi Richmond Properties, LLC, KPI Commercial, LLC, in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in The Shops at Stonehenge include: Q Barbecue; Dominoes; Vapor Connection; Sola Salon; CATO; Window Depot; Tops Asian Grill; and One Main Financial.
Little Caesars Pizza leased 2,500 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased property located at 1101 Iron Bridge Road in Richmond. John Madures of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord, Woodfin Heating, Inc. in the lease negotiations with the fast food restaurant.
H&L Partners leased 1,561 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased American Cigar building located at 15 South 23rd Street in Richmond. H&L Partners is an advertising agency and marketing firm that opened its Richmond office to cater to its McDonald’s account. They also service other national, local and regional clients. McNameee represented the landlord, Forest City Enterprises.
