RICHMOND, VA: Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of four transactions totaling 27,457 square feet of commercial space across central Virginia.  Negotiations were handled by the Richmond office of DRE.

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia renewed its lease for 19,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Midlothian Crossing Shopping Center located at 8535 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond.  Goodwill works to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work.  Other major tenants in Midlothian Crossing include:  Big Lots, Family Dollar, Red Wing Shoes, Metro PCS and Stuffy’s Subs.  The landlord, Midlothian Associates, LP, was represented by DRE’s Sara Goodall.

BI Inc leased 3,917 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Fountain Park located at 9321 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond.  BI operates a federal electronic monitoring program for the US Department of Homeland Security.  Divaris’ John Madures and Steven Lindsay represented the landlord, Midlothian Partners of Virginia, LLC, in the lease negotiations.  Other tenants in Fountain Park include:  Brand Energy Solutions, Gillman Services and Old Dominion Pediatrics.

Redeemed Christian Church of God leased 2,540 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Landmark Office Park located at 8726 Landmark Road in Richmond. John Madures of Divaris Real Estate handled the lease on behalf of the landlord, Scott Douglas Corp.

Dunkin’ Donuts leased 2,000 square feet of retail space at Freedom Drive, Lot 1A in Zion Crossroads, Va.  The outparcel small shop building is being constructed for Spring 2016 delivery.  DRE’s Brett McNamee and Goodall worked on behalf of the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, Freedom Drive Shops, LLC.
