Aldi, Inc Continues Expansion in Divaris-Leased Fort Washington Retail Center

TYSONS, VA (January 28, 2022) — Aldi, Inc. has signed a 22,000 Square foot lease at the Tantallon Shopping Center in Fort Washington, Maryland. Joe Farina, Principal of Divaris Real
Estate’s Washington, D.C. office managed negotiations on behalf of the Landlord, Tinabe LLC.  The new store, located at 10709 Indian Head Highway, follows Aldi’s 2021 expansion of 100 new store openings in the past year. Aldi is the common brand of two German family-owned supermarket chains with over 10,000 stores in 20 countries. The grocer will anchor the Neighborhood Retail Center alongside Autozone and Adventist Medical Group.

“We are very excited to welcome Aldi to the Tantallon Center. The presence of this strong grocer anchor will benefit both the local community and the existing retail tenant base through the
