Divaris Real Estate Announces $16.8 Million and 226,819 Square Feet in Completed Transactions for December 2017

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of $16,770,532 in transactions totaling 226,819 square feet of sold, leased and renewed commercial property in the Hampton Roads, Richmond, Charlotte, Roanoke and Washington DC, markets in December 2017.

Sales Transactions

  • Holland House Apartments, LLC purchased the 35,524-square-foot Holland House Apartments, at 200 Drummond Place in Norfolk, Va, from Holland Associates, a general partnership, for $2,347,000 in an off-market transaction.  George Fox brokered the sale on behalf of the buyer.
  • Seven Development, LLC purchased an outparcel of 1.35 acres of land at Waynesboro Town Center at 740 Town Center Drive in Waynesboro, Virginia for $1.2 million for the development of two retail buildings, of 7,920 square feet and 1,700 square feet from Waynesboro Town Center, LLC.  Brett McNamee and Ali Newton brokered the sale on behalf of the seller.
  • TSN Realty, LLC purchased a 34,161-square-foot, former Haverty’s furniture store at 7515 Two Notch Road in Columbia, SC from Haverty’s Furniture Company for $850,000.  Diana Teitsma brokered the sale for the seller.
  • Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers purchased 44,518 square feet of land in Hampton Roads Crossing shopping center at 1011 University Boulevard in Suffolk, Va for $823,055.  Levi Thomson brokered the sale on behalf of the seller, Terry/Peterson Investment Thirty, LLC.
  • Richard G. Levin purchased 7,980 square feet of retail space at 19-21 East Mellen Street in Hampton, Va, from BRR Investments for $425,000.  Missy Martinovich brokered the sale for the buyer.
