Divaris Real Estate Announces $8.2 Million and 95,725 Square Feet in Completed Transactions for October 2017

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of $8,278,024 in transactions totaling 95,725 square feet of commercial property in the Hampton Roads, Washington DC, Richmond, Charlotte and Roanoke markets in October 2017.

Sales Transaction

  • Shah Trust purchased a 7,786-square-foot, former Advanced Auto store at 5335 Market Street in Wilmington, NC from Serdhi Realty, LLC for $1,270,000.  Charles Neil represented the buyer.
  • Wendy’s Properties purchased 0.75 acres of land at 433 Chestnut Street in Portsmouth, Va from the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority for $495,000. Levi Thomson brokered the sale on behalf of the seller.
  • 6135 Rockfish Gap, LLC purchased 1.1 acres of land at US Route 250 in Crozet, Va from Froehling & Robertson, Inc. for $850,000. Read Goode and Cheryle Toy brokered the sale on behalf of the seller.

  • Taco Bell leased 38,738 square feet of land in Village Square at Kiln Creek at 5007 Victory Boulevard in Tabb, Virginia. Thomson represented the tenant.
  • Serco leased 17,457 square feet of office space at 5700 Thurston Avenue in Virginia Beach, Va.  Krista Costa and Katherine Olson represented the landlord.
  • Off the Hook Seafood leased 3,641 square feet of retail space in The Center Shops at 2000 Colley Avenue in Norfolk, Va.  George Fox represented the tenant.
  • Weston Solutions leased 2,439 square feet of office space in Harbour Centre at 2 Eaton Street in Hampton, Va.  Chris Bendit represented the landlord.
  • Thai Best leased 1,875 square feet of retail space in Glenwood Shoppes at 8401 Hampton Boulevard in Norfolk, Va. David Bickford represented the landlord.
  • Hayes Real Estate Property Management Services leased 1,447 square feet of office space in Poplar Hill Professional Center at 4041 Taylor Road in Chesapeake, Va. Bendit and Elizabeth Napolitano represented the landlord.

  • Keller Williams Realty renewed its lease for 10,372 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed One Columbus Center at 283 Constitution Drive in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. Michael Divaris, Vivian Turok and Krista Costa represented the landlord.
  • Metropolitan Ballroom renewed its lease for 4,560 square feet of retail space in Providence Plaza at 2935 Providence Road in Charlotte, NC.  Neil represented the landlord.
  • Divaris Property Management Corp renewed its lease for 2,535 square feet of office space in the Esplanade Building at 2101 Rexford Road in Charlotte.  Neil represented the tenant.
  • Planet Beach Tanning renewed its lease for 2,100 square feet of retail space in South Square at 3415 Westgate Drive in Durham, NC.  Neil and Diana Teitsma represented the landlord.
  • Jackson Hewitt renewed its lease for 1,500 square feet of retail space in Socastee Commons at 5022 Dick Pond Road in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Neil represented the landlord.
  • Edward D. Jones renewed its lease for 1,275 square feet of office space in Harbour Breeze Professional Center at 1500 Breezeport Way in Suffolk, Va. Costa and Olson represented the landlord.
