Divaris Real Estate’s Hampton Roads Office Completes 21 Transactions Totaling 124,921 Square Feet

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of 21 sales and lease transactions totaling 124,921 square feet of commercial space.

 

Sales Transactions

Justin T. Bush purchased the 5,191-square-foot Virginia Eye Consultants building located at 2463 Pruden Boulevard in Suffolk, Virginia from Virginia Eye Suffolk, LLC for $1,050,000.  This is a sale-leaseback transaction.  Virginia Eye Consultants will continue to occupy the medical office building.  Vivian Turok and Jason Oliver represented the seller, while George Fox represented the buyer in the sale.

Hooked Group, LLC purchased 3.457 acres of land located on Independence Parkway in the Battlefield Corporate Center in Chesapeake, Virginia from Interstate Land, LC for $830,000.  George Fox represented the buyer in the sale.

Elizabeth Tanglewood, LLC purchased 1.49 acres of land located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Route 344 and Tanglewood Parkway in Elizabeth City, North Carolina from TGW 1 North, LLC for $700,000.  David Redmond and David Bickford represented the seller in the transaction.

Lease Transactions

dd’s DISCOUNTS leased 23,031 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Todd Shopping Center located at 2330 Mercury Boulevard in Hampton, Va.  Aeri Jai represented the landlord and Mary McGovern represented both the tenant and the landlord in the lease negotiations.  Other tenants in Todd Shopping Center include: Big Lots, Office Depot, Northern Tool and Equipment, Advance Auto Parts, Lumber Liquidators, Catherine’s, Subway and Patient First.

 Sentara Medical Group leased 4,821 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Columbus Square Shopping Center located at 4445 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach.  Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Baker’s Crust leased 3,977 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Landstown Commons located at 3388 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach.  Levi Thomson and Kris Fuller represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.  Other tenants in Landstown Commons include Kohl’s, Ross Dress For Less, Best Buy, A.C. Moore, Bed Bath & Beyond, Petsmart, Office Max, Carter’s, Lane Bryant, Rack Room Shoes, Buffalo Wild Wings, Massage Envy, Longhorn Steakhouse, ULTA, Walgreens, Phoenix Salon and Kirklands.

Turpin For Senate Campaign Office leased 3,600 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Executive Cove located at 5606 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach.   Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Phoebus Dive Bar leased 2,600 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased 31 East Mellen Street property in Hampton, Va.  Missy Martinovich represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Lily of the Valley leased 2,125 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Foxfire Center located at 2401 Seaboard Road in Virginia Beach.   Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Armor Insurance Group leased 2,007 square feet of office space in Reflections III located at 208 Golden Oak Court in Virginia Beach.   Elizabeth Paasch represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Smooth Downtown leased 1,600 square feet of retail space located at 2397 Liberty Way in Virginia Beach.  Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Bold Realty leased 1,586 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Executive Cove located at 5608 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach.   Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Sunrise Counseling and Psychological Services leased 1,019 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Windwood Centre located at 780 Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach.  Elizabeth Paasch represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Lease Renewals

 Food Lion renewed its lease for 38,307 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Spruce Street Station located at 1101 Brookdale Street in Martinsville, Va.  David Bickford represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Food Lion renewed its lease for 29,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Glenwood Square Shopping Center located at 8401 Hampton Boulevard in Norfolk, Va.  David Bickford represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Leslie’s Pool Supplies, Service & Repair renewed its lease for 5,200 square feet in the Divaris-leased and -managed Academy Crossing located at 3200 Academy Avenue in Portsmouth, Va.  David Bickford represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.  Additional retailers in the center include LabCorp, LMS Medical Supplies, Fit Bodies, Gymboree and Rita’s Pizza.

A Tech Systems renewed its lease for 1,702 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Southport Trade Center located at 349 Southport Circle in Virginia Beach.  Vivian Turok and Elizabeth Napolitano represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Metro PCS renewed its lease for 1,575 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Victory Crossing Shopping Center located at 4006 Victory Boulevard in Portsmouth.   George Fox represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.    Other tenants in Victory Crossing include: Farm Fresh, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Dollar Tree, Virginia ABC and SunTrust bank.

Bioscrip Infusion Services renewed its lease for 1,124 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Liberty Commons located at 12695 McManus Boulevard in Newport News, Va.   Karen Beale, SIOR represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Made Men Barber Shop renewed its lease for 1,044 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Lake Shores Plaza located at 5193 Shore Drive in Virginia Beach.  David Bickford represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Tidewater Counseling Group renewed its lease for 600 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Liberty Commons located at 12695 McManus Boulevard in Newport News, Va.   Karen Beale, SIOR represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
