Divaris Real Estate’s Hampton Roads Office Negotiates Nine Transactions Totaling 51,775 Square Feet

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of the following nine transactions totaling 51,775 square feet of new and renewed commercial space.

New Transactions

Dollar Tree Stores leased 10,178 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased 5th Street Station located at 335 Merchant Walk Square in Charlottesville, Va.

Extreme Pizza leased 2,604 square feet of retail space in 5th Street Station in Charlottesville, as well.   The discount store and pizza restaurant join Wegman’s, Field & Stream, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Havertys, A.C. Moore and PetSmart in 5th Street Station.  The Divaris team of Mary McGovern, Erica Rorrer, Zach Means and Larry Agnew represented the landlord in each of the lease negotiations.

 

CorTech leased 3,323 square feet of office space in Interstate Corporate Center located at 400 North Center Drive in Norfolk, Va.  DRE’s Elizabeth Paasch represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

 

SAS Comfort Shoes leased 1,500 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Crossways Shopping Center located at 1412 Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake, Va.  DRE’s David Redmond represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Perfect Fit leased 1,400 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Oakland Marketplace located at 7265 US 64 in Oakland, Tennessee.  Gerald Divaris represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

 

Renewed Leases

Barnes & Noble Booksellers renewed its lease for 28,420 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Columbus Village located at 4485 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach. Gerald Divaris and Sezin Cortinas represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

GameStop renewed its lease for 1,700 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Salem Crossing located at 2029 South Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach.  DRE’s Levi Thomson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

 

Cold Stone Creamery renewed its lease for 1,250 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed 550 Oyster Point Road in Newport News, Va.  Other tenants in the retail center include FedEx Office and Pho Saigon 8.  Karen Beale of the Peninsula office of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

 

Western National Life Insurance Co. renewed its lease for 1,400 square feet of retail space in St. John’s Plaza located at 3231 Garden Street in Titusville, Florida.  Gerald Divaris represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
