RICHMOND, VA: Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of four leases totaling 22,828 square feet of commercial space in Virginia.

DSW leased 14,445 square feet of retail space in the former Haverty building of the Valley View Mall located at 1920 C Valley View Boulevard in Roanoke, Va.  DSW Shoe Warehouse originated in Dublin, Ohio and has grown to more than 400 stores nationwide. Since its inception in 1991, DSW has developed into a distinctive retail concept that allows customers to personalize their shopping experience by offering an assortment of shoes that are accessible, easy to shop, and fill a broad range of customer needs and wants.  DRE’s Brett McNamee and Alison Newton represented the tenant in the negotiations with the landlord, Southeast Holdings, LLC.   Divaris represents DSW in its search for new sites throughout Virginia.

FireKleen leased 4,570 square feet of industrial space in the RVA Restorations building located at 835-B Grove Road in Midlothian, Va.  FireKleen services commercial, industrial, and residential properties with experienced and best-equipped professionals in the restoration industry to restore properties after disasters from water, fire, storm, and mold damages.  DRE’s Peter Vick and Harrison Hall represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, Ovum Holdings, Inc.

Kabab Place Restaurant leased 2,505 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Gold’s Gym Plaza located at 8906 West Broad Street in Richmond.  Vick and Hall of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord, West Tower, LLC, in the lease negotiations.  Kabab Place joins Gold’s Gym, Regal Cinemas, Gelati Celesti, For Eyes, Crustacean Boil & Grill and Kumon in the shopping center.

Independent Insurance Agency of Richmond leased 1,308 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed 360 West Shopping Center located at 7130 Hull Street Road in Richmond, Va.  The insurance firm joins Dollar General, Rite Aid, Subway, Boost Mobile, AutoZone, and Jackson Hewitt in the shopping center.  DRE’s Sara Goodall represented the landlord, HSW, LLC and RMW 1, LLC, in the lease transaction.
