TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES AND KIPP PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOLS TO JOIN LEE + WHITE IN ATLANTA’S WEST END
The U.K.-based motorcycle manufacturer and non-profit school system are among the newest tenants at the adaptive reuse mixed-use village.

ATLANTA, January 17, 2024 – Triumph Motorcycles, a U.K.-based motorcycle manufacturer, and KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools, a non-profit network of free, public charter schools, are the latest users to join Lee + White, the BeltLine-adjacent, adaptive reuse mixed-use community in Atlanta’s West End neighborhood. The iconic motorcycle company will relocate its North American headquarters to Lee + White, opening 15,000 square feet of offices, collaborative space and a showroom in Building 1070. KIPP will occupy 7,767 square feet of collaborative office space in Building 1050, and will temporarily occupy space elsewhere at the development during the build-out process.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Porter Henritze and Melanie Garlock completed the Triumph and KIPP leases on behalf of joint owners MDH Partners and Ackerman & Co. Tim Palmer of Lee & Associates represented Triumph Motorcycles. Mike Davis and Michael Tucker from Scotland Wright Associates represented KIPP.

“Lee + White is gaining attention from both global and local users looking for unique space that fosters innovation and inspiration,” said Jeff Small, CEO of MDH Partners. “With proximity to the BeltLine, access to diverse talent in the West End, ample greenspace and unique amenities, there’s nothing else quite like it in the market. Lee + White is proof that there is a healthy appetite for creative space where employees and people want to be.”

Triumph Motorcycles is relocating its headquarters to Lee + White from 100 Hartsfield Center Parkway in Atlanta. The refurbished warehouse space in Building 1070 will include 13,600 square feet of office and collaborative space and a 1,400-square-foot showroom spotlighting Triumph’s history and motorcycle product lines.

“Triumph is super excited to move our North American Headquarters to the Lee + White community,” said   Rod LopusnakPresident of North America and Don CarleoCFO of North America for Triumph. “The Triumph Vision is to be the Premium lifestyle Motorcycle Brand, so everything we do strives to be distinctive, cool, authentic and premium. This park exudes all those attributes, and we fully plan to not only utilize the space in our marketing and training events, but also add to the park’s “coolness factor” with motorcycle and apparel displays.”

Also in Building 1050 of the mixed-use development, nanotechnology company Carbice opened a 23,367-square-foot headquarters and production facility, and cleantech energy company JTEC Energy Inc. established its 18,755-square-foot headquarters, lab and machine shop earlier this year.

“Lee + White is becoming a magnet for businesses seeking a strategic location with great amenities for their headquarters operations, and Triumph is the latest example. Triumph has a storied history, and it’s exciting to see them join businesses like technology innovators Carbice and JTEC that have established their headquarters at Lee + White,” said Kris Miller, President of Ackerman & Co. “KIPP’s decision to open at Lee + White shows how we’re succeeding in our goal of creating a tenant mix that serves the West End community.”

Acquired by MDH Partners and Ackerman & Co. in September 2019, Lee + White has become a popular destination for its breweries, restaurants and retailers. In the current phase of the redevelopment, the investment partners added a 19-vendor food hall with several stalls now open, more than 200,000 square feet of creative offices, new retail and the “Great Lawn” central gathering and event space. Providing BeltLine access via four direct entrances, Lee + White is located just 0.4 miles from the West End MARTA station and is convenient to all of metro Atlanta’s major interstates, I-20, I-75, I-85 and I-285.
