Divaris Real Estate’s Richmond Office Negotiates Seven Transactions for 26,762 Square Feet
RICHMOND, VA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of the following transactions in Central Virginia for 26,762 square feet of new and renewed commercial space.
New Lease Transactions
Kirkland’s Stores leased 7,640 square feet of retail space in Central Park Marketplace located at 1767 Carl D Silver Parkway in Fredericksburg, Va. DRE’s Brett McNamee and Ali Newton represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Kirkland’s is expanding and relocating its store from Central Park to Central Park Marketplace.
MontaLew’s cigar bar/restaurant leased 5,516 square feet of retail space located at 1718 East Main Street in Richmond. DRE’s Brett McNamee and Ali Newton represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Johnny Giavos, doing business as Stella’s Market, leased 3,668 square feet of retail space in the HandCraft Building at the corner of Roseneath and Moore Streets in Richmond. The space will include a 2,000-square-foot commissary to prepare ingredients for the restaurant group of: Stella’s, The Continental, Kitchen 64, Sidewalk Café, Kuba Kuba, The Galley, Galley Coffee and the Little Nickel. The Scott’s Addition community will be able to purchase ready-to-eat foods and beverages ranging from rotisserie chicken, paninis, salads, coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches. A fall opening is expected. DRE’s Read Goode and Cheryle Toy represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Honey Nail and Spa leased 2,100 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed property located at 9460 West Broad Street in Richmond. DRE’s Peter Vick and Harrison Hall represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Union Bank & Trust leased 1,394 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Stonebridge Marketplace located at 209 Stonebridge Plaza Avenue in Chesterfield, Va. Other tenants in Stonebridge Marketplace include: Panda Express, Krispy Kreme, Zaxby’s, Sleepy’s, Great Clips, Virginia ABC, and H&R Block. Vick and Hall represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Lease Renewal
The New Deliverance Tabernacle renewed its lease for 2,750 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed 360 West Shopping Center located at 7112-B Hull Street Road in Richmond. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Rite Aid, Dollar General, AutoZone and ntelos. DRE’s Sara Goodall represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Sales Transaction
Midlothian Mechanical Properties, LLC purchased a 3,694-square-foot office/warehouse property on .67 acres located at 501 Research Road in Richmond from the seller FT Property, LLC. DRE’s Read Goode and Cheryle K. Toy brokered the sale on behalf of the buyer, a heating and air conditioning contractor.
