Virginia Beach, Va. – June 4, 2024 – Divaris Real Estate announced the acquisition of S.T. Burke Retail Partners, a renowned national retail tenant representation and corporate services company which was established in 2014. Alongside this acquisition, Divaris welcomed Sean Burke, the founder of S.T. Burke Retail Partners, as its new Principal, National Retail Markets and Retail Corporate Services.
Sean Burke brings to Divaris a distinguished career with decades of experience working for and representing some of the most admired retailers in the United States, including Punch Bowl Social, Wagamama, Voicebox Karaoke, Paladar Latin Kitchen, Bomba Taco Bar, Tin Shop Restaurant Group, Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, DSW, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, Terrain, Carhartt, and Paper Source. His expertise extends to revitalizing urban centers, as seen in his work with Bedrock Real Estate in the revival of downtown Detroit. He also served with Douglas Development in the Mid-Atlantic region in heading up the leasing of their retail portfolio.
In his new role, Burke will be based in Philadelphia, supporting Divaris’ agents across all locations and working with Divaris’ Realty Resources affiliates nationwide. S.T. Burke will also work alongside The McGarey Group, another Divaris Company in the execution of its national projects. His responsibilities will encompass national retail tenant representation and the delivery of comprehensive corporate services to national retailers and restaurants. These services include store deployment strategies, lease administration and renewals, facility management, planning and construction, budgeting and reconciliations, distribution center logistics, store dispositions, and managing surplus real estate.
