Divaris Real Estate Announces $35.4 Million and 383,599 Square Feet in Completed Transactions for June 2020

 

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (July 7, 2020) — Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of 27 transactions totaling $35,402,026 and 383,599 square feet of sold, new or renewed leases in commercial properties throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia in June 2020.

Sale Transaction

TowneBank and CHKD have purchased the Arnold B. McKinnon tower at 3 Commercial Place in Norfolk from Norfolk Southern Railroad.  The 22-story, 310,745-square-foot building was bought along with a 744-space parking garage connected to the tower by a sky bridge.  Gerald Divaris, Michael Divaris and Jason Oliver represented TowneBank.

Lease Transactions

  • Spirit Halloween leased 7,400 square feet of retail space in East Beach Marketplace at 4027 East Little Creek Road in Norfolk.  Kris Fuller and George Fox represented the landlord.
  • Adaptive Aerospace Group leased 3,629 square feet of office space in Oxford Plaza at 1 Enterprise Parkway in Hampton, Va.   Nicole Campbell and Brian Devlin represented the landlord.
  • 1865 Brewery Company leased 2,521 square feet of retail space at 9 South Mallory St. in Hampton.  Missy Martinovich represented the landlord.
