Kids Empire Selects Ackerman Retail as Exclusive Representative for Georgia Expansion
Ackerman’s Brian Lefkoff to initially focus on metro Atlanta locations.

ATLANTA, June 6, 2018 – Kids Empire, an indoor playground concept, has selected Ackerman Retail as its exclusive representative in Georgia as part of its national expansion. Brian Lefkoff, senior vice president of Ackerman Retail, will help the retailer identify and select sites, with the goal of opening six locations in metro Atlanta in the first 12 months.

Kids Empire facilities, which range in size from 10,000 to 20,000 square feet, feature a five-level indoor play area with at least 21-foot ceilings, and event space for birthday parties and other gatherings. Dedicated to offering a variety of fun options for physical activity, Kids Empire’s motto is “exercise in disguise” with “no video games.”

“I look forward to helping Kids Empire achieve its expansion goals in Georgia for this exciting entertainment venue,” said Brian Lefkoff. “Metro Atlanta is an ideal market for this concept, which is best suited to areas with 700,000 people within a 20-minute drive. There is no shortage of power centers and other shopping centers in metro Atlanta that fit those criteria.”

Kids Empire (designed for ages 1 to 12) plans to open 15 locations across the U.S. by the end of this year (in Georgia, California, Illinois, Arizona, Utah, Texas, New York and New Jersey) and expects to open 50 sites by year-end 2019 and 200 sites by year-end 2020.
