Divaris Completes Eight Leases in Richmond and Charlottesville
RICHMOND, VA: Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of eight leases totaling 34,277 square feet of commercial space in central Virginia.
Domoishi leased 9,330 square feet of retail space in Brandy Hill Plaza located at 7055 Mechanicsville Turnpike in Mechanicsville, Va. Domoishi, is the leader in providing unique dining experiences and healthy sustainable restaurant concepts. They are the parent company of Domoishi, Sushi King, Yukai Buffet, Snap-A-Roll and Tepanyaki Buffet. Aeri Jai, of DRE’s Virginia Beach office, represented the tenant in the negotiations with the landlord, 7055 Brandy Hill Plaza Associates. Jai represents Sushi King in its search for new sites throughout Virginia, North and South Carolina and Maryland.
Café Caturra leased 4,935 square feet of retail space in Midlothian Village Square located at 13830 Village Place Drive in Midlothian, Va. Café Caturra is a Mediterranean-inspired fast-casual café, open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, events, wine and cocktails. DRE’s Peter Vick and Harrison Hall represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, JAYVIC, LLC. Vick and Hall represent Café Caturra in its search for new locations throughout Virginia.
The Top restaurant and lounge renewed its lease for 4,400 square feet of retail space at 10 Walnut Alley in the Shockoe Bottom section of Richmond. Brett McNamee of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord, BEK Associates, in the lease negotiations.
Leisure Fitness Equipment renewed its lease for 4,200 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed 9460 West Broad Street in Richmond, Va. Vick and Hall represented the landlord, Ef Sbc 2013-1l Reo LLC, in the lease transaction. Other tenants in the property include Qdoba Mexican Grill and Takara Ramen; 2,100 square feet of retail space remains available for lease at 9460 West Broad Street.
Lewis and Lewis|East leased 4,200 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed 360 West Shopping Center located at 7106 Hull Street Road in Richmond. The company sells HP printers, ink and toner and other printing products, services and supplies. Premier Audio renewed its lease for 3,612 square feet of retail space in 360 West Shopping Center located at 7112 Hull Street Road. Other tenants at 360 West include: Dollar General, Rite Aid, AutoZone, Subway and Boost Mobile. Sara Goodall of DRE’s Richmond office represented the landlord, HSW, LLC and RMW1, LLC. In both lease negotiations.
Waleed Badran leased 2,000 square feet of office space located at 130 East Bet Boulevard in Richmond. The space will be used for upscale car sales. John Madures of DRE’s Richmond office represented the landlord, Boatman Properties, LLC, in the lease negotiations.
Sally Beauty Supply leased 1,600 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased 5th Street Station located at 5th Street and Bent Creek Parkway in Charlottesville, Va. Sally Beauty Supply is the largest retailer of professional beauty supplies in the world. It joins Wegmans, Field & stream, Dick’s Sporting Goods, PetSmart, ACMoore and Haverty’s Furniture in 5th Street Station. The Divaris leasing team of Mary McGovern, Zach Means, Larry Agnew and Erica Rorrer represented the landlord, 5th Street Station Ventures, LLC, in the lease negotiations.
