DRE Completes Five Leases for Retail Space in Hampton Roads
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of five leases totaling 9,628 square feet of retail space in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Negotiations were handled through the Virginia Beach, Va, office of DRE.
The Fitness Lab leased 3,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Larkspur Square shopping center located at 4720 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach. DRE’s Eric Hammond represented the landlord, Aegean Associates, in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Larkspur Square include: 360 Vintage and More, 21 Burgers, Yama Sushi Bar, Sneaky Pete’s Sports Bar & Grill and Spiritual Relics.
Cycle Bar leased 2,328 square feet of retail space in Red Mill Walk Shopping Center located at 2217 Upton Drive in Virginia Beach, Va. Cyclebar is a franchise stationary cycling studio that will offer CycleTheatre that incorporates lighting, sound and video into class rides. This is the first Cycle Bar location in the Hampton Roads area. Elizabeth Greer Napolitano and Sezin Cortinas of Divaris Real Estate represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, Lakeside/Swinson Note, LLC.
Manila Bistro leased 1,800 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Shoppes at Lake James located at 5347 Lila Lane in Virginia Beach, Va. The Filipino restaurant joins Humanity Health Care, Tax Headquarters, and Code Blue 4 U in the retail shopping center. DRE’s Hammond and David Bickford represented the landlord, Chu & Sons, Inc., in the lease negotiations.
T-Mobile leased 1,500 square feet of retail space in the CNU Village Retail Center located at 12368 Warwick Boulevard in Newport News, Va. The cell phone retailer joins Panera Bread, Moe’s Southwest Grill, 7-Eleven, Supercuts, Tropical Smoothie Café and Subway in the shopping center. DRE’s Erica Meekins Rorrer represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, CNU Village Retail, LLC.
Fat Fish leased 1,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Mt. Pleasant Village Shopping Center located at 1457 Mt. Pleasant Road in Chesapeake, Va. The start-up seafood restaurant joins center tenants Allstate, Universal Fitness and Hotrodder’s Café. Hammond represented the landlord, Mt. Pleasant Village, LLC, in the lease negotiations.
